General information - Caravan camping

As trailers, camper and folding trailers are not allowed in the regular parking and camping areas you need an extra “Trailer” or “Camper” ticket for Caravan Camping. This includes vehicles that offer permanent accommodation for every passenger. The maximum number of people allowed to sleep in the vehicle is the same as the number of berths by design or the number of people allowed to be transported by vehicle documents. The total weight is restricted to 3.5 tons. Cars are not allowed at the caravan camping area.

If you decide to travel to Rock im Park with a trailer or camper, please notice the following points:

1. Parking badge

Every trailer/camper needs 1 respective Caravan Camping badge. The badge only entitles to park a trailer/camper at the separate caravan parking lots. Please note that the badges are assigned to certain Caravan Camping areas and it is only possible to park the trailer/camper in the areas indicated on the badges. In addition, one 1 awning or 1 small tent may be put up directly next to the vehicle. Access to Caravan Camping area is only possible in combination with a valid Caravan Camping Guest ticket and Weekend Festival Ticket – General Camping.

2. Caravan Camping Guest Ticket

Every occupant (incl. the driver) additionally needs 1 valid Caravan Camping Guest Ticket in combination with 1 Weekend Festival Ticket – General Camping.

3. Parking Lot

Trailers and campers have a seperate parking lot.
Trailers: 22│Steintribüne and Beuthener Straße (depending on the badge)
Campers: S5, 30│Z-Wiese, Zeppelinstraße and Beuthener Straße (depending on the badge)

You can see the exact location on the site map. We offer power connection in a radius of about 50 meters. To connect you need a CEE load-current line plug, tripolar, 230V / 16A BLUE with a length of minimum 50 meters.

Please notice that the rules for the Caravan Camping area are the same as for all other camping areas! In particular please pay attention to the signs / camping rules at the entrances.

Arrival / Departure from Leipzig

Follow the A9 to Regensburger Str./B4 in Bavaria, then take the A9 exit 52-Nürnberg-Fischbach

Arrival / Departure direction from Würzburg

Follow the A3 to Äußere Bayreuther Str./B2, then take the A9 exit 52-Nürnberg-Fischbach

Parking

With additional ticket: The parking lot for Caravan Camping ticket holders is S5, 30 | Z-Wiese, Zeppelinstraße and Beuthener Straße for campers and 22 | Steintribüne and Beuthener Straße for trailers (see site map).

Please note that you can only park the trailer/camper in the parking lot indicated on the badge.

CHECK-IN

On presentation of your Caravan Camping Guest ticket and your Weekend Festival Ticket at the CHECK-IN C you will get a fabric wristband, which allows you to enter the Caravan Camping area as well as the festival site. You will find the exact location on the site map.
