Besucher mit Behinderung
Festival visitors with disabilities and their accompanying person need a valid Weekend Festival Ticket each, which are available for a reduced price. These tickets are only available via the eventim hotline 01806-570070 (0,20 €/call incl. VAT, Mobile max. 0,60 €/call incl. VAT / Monday - Sunday 8-20 hrs).
In general, festival visitors with disabilities are allowed to stay on camping areas, for which they have the appropriate ticket. Please note that these areas are not barrier-free.
Disabled visitors, which own a medical certificate of disability (class B), have their own barrier-free camping area, which is located in a central position at the “Waldsportplatz” sports facility on the corner of Karl-Steigelmann-Str. and Kurt-Leucht-Weg, right near to the event area. Visitors with disabilities and a maximum of one accompanying person may camp. More accompanying persons are not allowed.
The camping area has a Special Assistant Point, which is continuously manned and professionally answers the questions of visitors with disabilities regarding the festival. If you are taking any medications that require cooling, you may leave them there or give them to the paramedics. Please put medicines in a small labeled plastic box before handling them over. The Special Assistant Point has a central power supply available where, if required, electrical appliances - e.g. electric wheelchairs – can be charged. Individual tents do not have a separate connection.
In order to plan the available areas for a needs-based usage we strongly advise visitors with disabilities to fill in a free registration form for the use of the camping area and to access the parking for disabled visitors. This registration can only be done online.
Please fill in the form here.
Some visitors with disabilities urgently depend on a support vehicle. Therefore they get the chance to park their support vehicle in a separate parking area near to the barrier-free camping area. These parking lots are only available for visitors that make use of the barrier-free camping.
To get a guaranteed parking spot the free registration is absolutely necessary. After successful validation you will receive a written confirmation a few day before the festival starts. Only with this written confirmation a parking spot is guaranteed. The registration is bound to a vehicle and a ticket owner. In the barrier-free camping for disabled visitors each vehicle needs the registration, as each visitor needs a Weekend Festival Ticket. Following types of vehicles are allowed: passenger cars, station wagons, van and SUVs. From 12pm on Friday, free capacity in the area will also be assigned to attendees on the spot without the need for registration. Registration holders are then no longer guaranteed a space!
Please notice that the rules for this camping area are the same as for all other camping areas! In particular please pay attention to the signs/camping rules at the entrances.
Furthermore there is a wheelchair-accessible viewing platforms at each stage, giving an unrestricted view to the stage. Several delay towers near the Zeppelin Stage also guarantee a perfect sound on the platform. There are also special signs for paved ways to the stages/platforms.
The VIP stand and VIP shuttle are not wheelchair accessible.
