It’s best to carpool to avoid unnecessary solo trips and save fuel. Ideally, use the Park & Ride facilities and then take public transportation free of char geon Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) network all the way to the festival grounds.
The NUNAV-App will guide you from home to the fastest route to an available parking spot. Traffic and parking lot occupancy are continuously monitored throughout the festival weekend, ensuring you reach your destination efficiently and without delay.
Please do not use other navigation apps such as “Google Maps” or “Apple Maps,” as some of theroutes they display may be impassable. Instead, follow only the official on-site parking guidance signs.

Out of repect for local residents, both the parking lots and the camping areas will not open until Thursday, June 3, 2027, at approximately 9:00 a.m. You must depart by Monday, June 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Please note:
- Arrival by caravan or minivan is only permitted with the appropriate permit.
- It is not possible to unload luggage from your vehicle at the campsites, as the parking and camping areas are separate.
- If you are being dropped off or picked up, please use the Kiss & Ride area at the bus bay of the Bertolt Brecht School.

You can travel comfortably by train to Nuremberg Central Station. The Deutschland Ticket, Bayern Ticket, and Quer-durchs-Land-Ticket are ideal for the trip via local public transit. From the central station, you can take public transit directly to the festival grounds in just a few minutes. With your festival ticket, you can use the public transit system of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) for free from June 3–7, 2026. With your “Day Ticket,” you can use the public transit system of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) for free on the respective festival day.
* Please note: Purchasers of a print@home ticket (PDF for self-printing) will be contacted separately by Eventim to book the additional combined ticket required for public transportation at no cost. Purchasers of a physical ticket can use it directly as a transit pass.
