FAQ Getting There
With Hanse Mondial, we offer you a sustainable and stress-free way to get to the festival! The city shuttles take you together with other festival fans from various cities in Bavaria as well as from Stuttgart, Heilbronn, Frankfurt, Leipzig and Berlin directly to the festival site on Bayernstraße near Volksfestplatz — with no transfers required. Environmentally friendly and comfortable.
After the concerts, you can also travel back every night to Aschaffenburg, Augsburg, Frankfurt, Ingolstadt, Munich, and Würzburg, even if there are no trains running anymore. On Sunday night, the buses will conveniently take you back to all cities.
Please note that, for logistical and organizational reasons, we can unfortunately only offer combined tickets for day trips (outbound and return journey on the same day).
All shuttles can now be booked at rock-im-park.com/cityshuttles/tickets, where you will also find all relevant information about departure times and routes.

You can travel comfortably by train to Nuremberg Central Station. The Deutschland Ticket, Bayern Ticket, and Quer-durchs-Land-Ticket are ideal for the journey via local public transportation. From the central station, you can reach the festival grounds directly in just a few minutes via public transportation. With your “Festival Ticket,” you can use the local public transportation of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) for free from June 4–8, 2026. With your “Day Ticket,” you can use the local public transportation of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) for free on the respective festival day.
Additional S-Bahn trains will be in service during the event. In addition, tram lines 7 and 10 and bus line 65 will run every 10 minutes. Getting back after the last act is also no problem, as both the S-Bahn and trams run to the main station until around 2:30 a.m.
