FESTIVAL TICKET

FESTIVAL TICKET – GENERAL CAMPING

The Festival Ticket – General Camping is valid for the entire weekend and includes General Camping, parking, and free use of showers and water toilets. Additionally, travel to and from the festival using public transportation within the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) network is included.

FESTIVAL TICKET – GREEN CAMPING

Green Camping focuses on environmental protection and waste separation. Quiet hours are observed from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The tickets are valid for the entire weekend and include Green Camping, parking, and free use of showers and water toilets. Eco-friendly travel via public transportation within the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) network is also included.

DAY FESTIVAL TICKET

The day festival ticket is valid on the respective festival day from begin until the end of the show. The Day Festival Ticket does not include parking and camping.

CAMPER BADGE (Motorhome)

At Camper Camping, you can camp in your motorhome on a separate area.
A Camper Badge is required to park a motorhome in the Camper Camping area. One awning or one small tent may be set up directly next to the vehicle. The ticket includes access to water toilets and showers in the Camper Camping area. Power outlets are available within approximately 50 m.

CAMPER CAMPING TICKET

Personal access to the Camper Camping area. The ticket is only valid in combination with a Festival Ticket – General Camping.

TRAILER BADGE (Car & Caravan Combination)

At Trailer Camping, you can camp in your trailer on a separate area.
A Trailer Badge is required to park a trailer in the Trailer Camping area. One awning or one small tent may be set up directly next to the vehicle. The ticket includes access to water toilets and showers in the Trailer Camping area. Power outlets are available within approximately 50 m.

TRAILER CAMPING TICKET

Personal access to the Trailer Camping area. The ticket is only valid in combination with a Festival Ticket – General Camping.

MINIVAN BADGE (Minivan & Car with Roof Tent)

At Minivan Camping, you can camp in your minivan or car with a roof tent on a separate area.
A Minivan Badge is required to park a minivan or car with a roof tent in the Caravan Camping area. The ticket includes access to water toilets and showers near the Minivan Camping area. No power connections are available.

MINIVAN CAMPING TICKET

Personal access to the Minivan Camping area. The ticket is only valid in combination with a Festival Ticket – General Camping.

ROCKABILITY CAMPING

rockAbility Camping is an additional barrier-free campsite with dedicated facilities and staff support. Located centrally near the event area, it is available for visitors with an official disability ID with mark B, G, aG, H oder BL and one accompanying person.

The site has an Assistant Point, staffed at all times to answer festival questions, store temperature-sensitive medication, and provide a central power connection for charging devices such as electric wheelchairs. Parking on a separate area near the campsite is included.

The ticket also includes parking in a separate parking area close to the rockAbility campsite.

VIP UPGRADE

VIP UPGRADE WEEKEND

With the VIP Upgrade Weekend, you can enjoy the festival in a very special way. The VIP Uprgrade Weekend includes the following services on all three festival days:

• Reserved VIP parking
• Separate VIP Check-In
• VIP entrance to the infield
• Shuttle service directly to the infield entrance
• Direct Entrance to the Zone A & B of the Utopia and Mandora Stage (if capacity available)
• Access to the Utopia Lounge, the exclusive VIP stand with the best view of the Utopia Stage, with its own bar and toilets only for VIPs
• Free drinks (beer, soft drinks, water) and food at the Utopia Lounge
• Exclusive Rock im Park merch package

Only valid in conjunction with a Festival Ticket per person.

VIP UPGRADE DAY

With the VIP Upgrade Day, you can enjoy the festival in a very special way. The VIP Uprgrade Day includes the following services on the respective festival day:

FAST LANE PASS

The Fast Lane Pass is an additional ticket that grants each buyer guaranteed and quick access to Zone A & B of the Utopia and Mandora Stage.

The Fast Lane Pass is an additional ticket and is only valid in conjunction with a Festival Ticket or Day Festival Ticket. Festival ticket or Day Festival Ticket holders without a Fast Lane Pass will still have access the zone A & B of the Utopia and Mandora Stage.

General information

Regular camping on the general camping areas.

In this context, please also observe the camping rules – in particular the parking and camping rules displayed at the entrances of the festival site! Only tents are allowed – no additional constructions.

Sanitary facilities

The use of the mobile and water toilets as well as the showers in the General Camping areas is included in the ticket.

General information

The Green Camping area allows all visitors, who are interested in a cleaner and quieter environment at the festival, to camp in separate areas near the Colosseum and the Luitpoldhain.

In addition, the Green Camping Ticket includes free use of the public transport of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN). With these you can travel to and from the campsite in a relaxed way and protect the environment. You can find the VGN area here.

Please note the following when camping at the Green Camping area:

The same camping rules apply in the Green Camping area as in all other camping areas - in particular the parking and camping rules displayed at the entrances of the festival site! In addition, we ask you to respect the peace and quiet of your camping neighbors from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. and to separate your garbage properly in the garbage bins provided. All visitors agree to take their tents and other camping equipment back home again. Only tents are allowed – no additional constructions.

Sanitary facilities

The use of the mobile and water toilets as well as the showers in the Green Camping areas is included in the ticket.

General Information

Since motorhomes are not allowed on the regular camping and parking areas, we have created a separate camping area specifically for motorhomes. Motorhomes (campers) are defined as vehicles that provide fixed sleeping spaces for exactly as many people as are legally allowed to travel in the vehicle.

Maximum total weight: 3.5 t
Maximum total length: 7.40 m

The same camping regulations apply in the Camper Camping area as on all other camping areas (exception: pavilions are not allowed). Please pay particular attention to the posted parking and camping regulations at the festival entrances!

Important Booking Information:

1. Badge
A “Camper Badge” is required for entry for each motorhome. The camper badge only authorizes parking a motorhome. Changes to the badge afterwards are not possible. A small tent may be placed directly next to the vehicle or an awning may be installed.

2. "Camper Camping" ticket
Every occupant (including the driver) must also have a “Camper Camping” ticket and a “Festival Ticket – General Camping.”

3. Parking lot
Special parking lots are designated and marked for motorhomes (campers): S5, 30 │ Z-Wiese, Zeppelinstraße

Power connections are available from a nearby distribution box within approximately 50 m. To connect you need a CEE load-current line plug, tripolar, 230V / 16A BLUE with a length of minimum 50 meters.

On presenting your “Camper Camping” ticket and “Festival Ticket – General Camping,” you will receive a wristband exclusively at a separat Check-in during the specified opening hours. This wristband serves as your entry pass to the festival site and grants access to the Camper Camping area.

Use of the mobile and water toilets as well as showers at Caravan Camping is included in the ticket.

Since trailers are not allowed on the regular camping and parking areas, we have created a separate camping area especially for trailers. Trailers are defined as vehicles that provide fixed sleeping spaces for exactly as many people as are legally allowed to travel in the vehicle.

Maximum total weight: 3.5 t
Maximum total length: 7.00 m (without towing vehicle)

Trailers (towing vehicles) must be detached and parked separately nearby. Cars without a trailer are not allowed in the Trailer Camping area.

The same camping regulations apply in the Trailer Camping area as on all other camping areas (exception: pavilions are not allowed). Please pay particular attention to the posted parking and camping regulations at the festival entrances!

Since overnight stays in vehicles are not allowed in the regular parking areas, we have created a dedicated Minivan Camping area at the Volksfestplatz, specifically for camping in minivans and cars with roof tents. No power connections are available.

Maximum total weight: 3.5 t
Maximum total length: 6.50 m

The same camping regulations apply in the Minivan Camping area as on all other camping areas (exception: pavilions are not allowed). Please pay particular attention to the posted parking and camping regulations at the festival entrances!

2. "Minivan Camping" ticket
Every occupant (including the driver) must also have a “Minivan Camping ” ticket and a “Festival Ticket – General Camping.”

3. Parking lot
A separate parking area is provided and clearly marked for minivans and cars with roof tents at the Volksfestplatz. The exact location can be found on the site map. There is no entitlement to a specific parking space. No power connections are available.

General information

The VIP upgrade offers an exclusive festival experience. It starts with your arrival, as you will receive your festival wristband at a separate Check-in and also have the opportunity to park in a reserved VIP parking lot. There is a convenient shuttle service from the Check-in and parking lot directly to the festival site. On the festival site there is also a VIP entrance for you.

A special highlight is access to the Utopia Lounge, with its own bar, the best view of the main stage and free drinks and food.

In addition, you will have direct access to the zone A & B of the Utopia and Mandora Stage (if capacity is available).

With the VIP Upgrade Weekend you will also receive a Rock im Park merch package with exclusive merch only for VIPs as a souvenir.

Please note that the VIP Upgrade is only valid in combination with a "Festival Ticket – General/Green Camping". We would also like to point out that the Utopia Lounge and the VIP shuttle are not barrier-free.
