FAQ Getting There

The festival site is easy to reach by public transport. 

You can travel comfortably by train to Nuremberg Central Station. You can find the best connection for your onward journey to get to your campsite as quickly as possible below.

If you have a "Weekend Festival Ticket – Green Camping", you can use the public transport of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) free of charge with your festival ticket.

The following tickets are available for travel by public transport:

To respect the local residents, both the parking and the camping areas will be opened from 9 am on Thursday, 6th June 2024! Departure must be completed by no later than Monday, 10th June 2024 at 10 am.

If you come from Nuremberg and the surrounding area, get on your bike. This will relieve the traffic on the roads. We will provide you with secure bicycle parking directly at the festival site. After you have collected your festival wristband at the CHECK-IN, you can take your bike to the bicycle parking area. It is located on Karl-Steigelmann-Straße. This gives you the shortest route to the site of all the parking options on site.

To respect the local residents, both the parking and the camping areas will be opened from 9 am on Thursday, 6th June 2024! Departure must be completed by no later than Monday, 10th June 2024 at 10 am.

It is best to carpool to save unnecessary individual rides and fuel. Ideally, use the  Park & Ride facilities and public transport for the onward journey to the festival site. 

Please follow the signs on site and the instructions of the security staff.

It is not possible to unload luggage or trailers at the camping areas, as the parking and camping areas are separate.

Please note that with a Day Festival Ticket you can only use public transport (or the bicycle) to get to the festival site. 


General Camping 

Please decide before your arrival in which camping area you want to stay.

Navigation address for CP 5: Bayernstraße 110, 90478 Nuremberg (approach via Bayernstraße)

Navigation address for CP 1 and 4: Große Straße, 90471 Nuremberg (approach in the direction of Große Straße)

Please follow the signs C1 and C4 on site.

Additionally there will be a dynamic parking guidance system, which informs you about the availability of parking areas. If filled parking areas are closed, please turn off your GPS and just follow the traffic guidance system.


Green Camping 

There are parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the Green Camping areas near the Colosseum.

Please follow the GREEN C6 signs on site.

There is a dynamic parking guidance system that will inform you of the route to the free parking spaces. If the capacity is exhausted, you have to choose one of the remaining parking areas and walk to the Green Camping area. Please only follow the parking guidance system and switch off your navigation devices.


Caravan Camping 

With Trailer/Camper Pass: For campers (Womo) the parking lots S5, 30 | Z-Wiese, Zeppelinstraße and Beuthener Straße are available. Caravans (Wowa) can be parked on 22 | Steintribüne and Beuthener Straße (see site plan).

Utopia Stage Camping

With Utopia Stage Camping Car Pass you can park in the separate parking lots nearby Beuthener Straße.

(Seaside) Backstage Camp

With Backstage Camp Car Pass you can park in a separate parking lot in area C 7 in the immediate vicinity of the Backstage Camp.

Special Needs Camping

Visitors who use the Special Needs Camping have the option of parking their vehicle in a separate parking area close to the barrier-free campsite. Only the following vehicle types are permitted: Cars, estate car, minibuses, SUVs.

Navigation address: Große Str., 90471 Nuremberg (access exclusively via Große Straße --> Otto-Ernst-Schweizer-Str.)

For the bikers among you, we have designated an extra area (near the Backstage Camp) where you can park in the immediate vicinity of your tents. No registration is necessary.
