Killswitch Engage

Killswitch Engage are one of modern metalcore’s defining bands. Formed in Massachusetts in 1999, they combine the aggression of hardcore with melodic guitars and soaring choruses. Vocalist Jesse Leach moves between powerful screams and clean singing, with lyrics exploring personal struggles, unity and hope. Their 2025 album “This Consequence” draws on the band’s established strengths while adding fresh ideas to their sound.
