Simple Plan

Simple Plan grew out of a friendship that began long before the band itself was formed. Singer Pierre Bouvier and drummer Chuck Comeau first played together as teenagers in the punk band Reset. In the late 1990s, the two reunited and began working on a new musical project that would eventually become Simple Plan.

The band achieved their international breakthrough in the early 2000s with their debut album “No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls”. The record became a milestone of the pop-punk era and produced two of their best-known songs, “I’m Just a Kid” and “Perfect”. In 2004, Simple Plan followed up with “Still Not Getting Any...”, which reached number two on the Canadian charts and number three on the Billboard 200.

More than two decades later, Simple Plan remain true to their catchy pop-punk sound. Their latest studio album, “Harder Than It Looks”, was released in 2022, while the 2025 documentary “Simple Plan: The Kids in the Crowd” looked back on 25 years of the band’s history.
